Looking towards the harbour on the Isle of Eigg
This view is on the road that leads to Kildonnan looking across the bay to the end of the jetty where the Small Isles ferry docks. In the distance you can just make out the shelter at the jetty.

I saw this small patch of wild flowers on the Isle of Eigg, above Poll nam Partan, as Kim and I walked from from the bay below Kildonan and up a small sea cliff to Na Breachnaich.
Kim and I recently spent a few days at the coast in northern England. Inspired by Ian Purves' photos of Chemical Beach, and others linked from his site, we called in at Seaham to take a look. The weather and time of day wasn't great for shots of the beach, so we spent most of our time at Seaham's small industrial harbour.
